We’re launching our new print edition of Creator Mag in just three days. To celebrate, we’re hosting our first Block Party—right here in the Windy City.
We have 50 creators, artists, filmmakers, and folks from around the media and entertainment world signed up to attend. It’s a mixture of friends from Chicago and beyond, and we can’t wait to host everyone at an incredible, eighteenth-floor venue at 800 West Fulton in the West Loop.
We still have room, so if you’d like more information on how to RSVP, scroll all the way down to the bottom. For now, here’s what the run-of-show will look like:
6:00 pm — 7:30 // Live jazz music, interactive art exhibits, and plenty of room for great conversations with great people. We’ll also serve food and drinks, alongside an open bar with some on-theme cocktails (available all night).
7:30 — 8:15 // I’ll deliver opening remarks before we dive into a fireside with Moy, Shua, and myself (moderated by our friend and fellow creator, Tia Wilson). We’ll then premiere our last video episode of the season: “Twenty-Five Calls For 2025.”
8:15 — 9:30 // Up-tempo jazz, room for even more great conversations, and an outdoor patio with fire pits (plus: views of the city skyline).
9:30 — 10 // Wrap-up and head out—attendees will be the first readers to receive their unique copy of Creator Mag as they exit.
For those attending: When we check you in, you’ll receive a nametag with a color unique to your creative medium (think “Writer,” “Designer,” etc). We’ll also ask you to answer this question:
What’s a project you want feedback on—or something that’s currently got you stuck?
You’ll write a brief answer to that question on your nametag. Feel free to give it some thought before you arrive!
